Stage: PreVeg

April 4, 2018

Welcome to the PreVeg Stage!

Expect this Stage to last approximately 30 days. This is the time your plant will work to create a strong root bundle while growing her first Fan Leaves.

With the Cotyledons gathering light she will create more efficient Fan Leaves. When she reaches the 6th Node she will have enough to enter into Veg Stage - where burst growth occurs.

Get a Party Cup and create 6 to 8 drain holes in the bottom.
Fill bottom of Party Cup with thin layer of Perlite.

Add soil (premixed in 2/3 soil, 1/3 Perlite) and plant Seedling into Party Cup. When complete: soil should fill 3/4 of cup.
Saturate with pH'd H2O and drain.

Spray topsoil with pH'd water until 1st node appears.

Once 1 node appears: water when soil is dry to the first knuckle.

Keep Light Schedule on 18 hours on and 6 hours off. Keep the Exhaust on and the Intake off to not batter the fragile stem. Exhaust will be enough until  she grows her 3rd node. Then all Fans are on.

No Nutrients! Seedlings have gentle roots, and the soil has enough Nutrients until she gets older in age.
After Transplant, allow the soil to dry down to the first knuckle. For the first Feed after Transplant use a Blackstrap Molasses mix of 1/4 teaspoon of Molasses in 1 gallon of H2O. Always pH to 6.0-6.5!
After first Feed, use only pH'd H2O until 6th node appears.

Water pH is essential and this is where you get your first practice. Use pH Drops or a pH Meter to keep water pH between 6.0-6.5. Optimum range throughout the life of bae!

When she gets her 6th node she is entering Veg Stage. Congratulations, Grower!
